What to do with students who have already mastered nouns while the rest of your class needs additional practice? This collection of 5 noun activities allows students to take a deeper look at how nouns work. The activities include:
1. Count versus noncount nouns
2. Creating a noun collage
3. Analysis of nouns in "Jabberwocky"
4. Compound nouns
5. Using gerunds
This list of activities can work as a contract with students who have mastered the basics of nouns. The activities would also work well for extra credit, group work, or enrichment.
Sample answers are included.
