This is a set of posters and worksheets that focus on nouns. Included are 2 posters on nouns. The first poster states the definition of a noun, "Words used to name a person, place, thing, or idea." The second poster tells the difference between a common and proper noun. Common nouns are words that do not name a specific person, place, thing, or idea. Proper nouns are words that begin with a capital letter and name a specific person, place, thing, or idea.
The rest of the document contains 11 worksheets. Pages 1-3 reinforce common nouns by having students read sentences and then underlining and writing all the common nouns on the lines provided. Pages 4-6 reinforce proper nouns by having students read sentences and then circling and writing all the proper nouns on the lines provided. Pages 7-9 consist of both common and proper nouns, and it requires students to read each sentence carefully. Students are to underline all common nouns and circle all proper nouns. Pages 10 and 11 are fun maze worksheets that require students to help each animal fun their way through the maze by following the correct nouns.
