Synopsis: It is summer vacation and Sheila Tubman’s family has decided to spend their summer house-sitting a friend’s home in Tarrytown, New York. Sheila is used to most things going her way. On the first day, she learns she has to share a house with a dog and sleep in a boy’s room. Not a good start.
Sheila is not known for admitting she doesn’t know something or can’t do something. When she meets Mouse, she finds out how far she can stretch a friendship with lies and stories.
Enjoy a wonderful book on learning about yourself and friendship. Sheila certainly did.
