Would you say that the Revolutionary War on Wednesday book is a good way to teach about the American Revolution or do you use it only as a supplement. I teach 2nd. Thanks!
I used it only as a supplement. There is a research guide that goes along with the book that is more factual as do most of Osborne's books. I would encourage you to read both books. The research guide may be above a second graders reading level, but they can still get a lot from it by you reading it to them and explaning as you go.
