This number find freebie will help your students practice 1 more, 1 less, 10 more, and 10 less. It also helps them practice using the hundreds chart. They start with the given number and color it in and follow the directions to find the ending number.

No specific picture. They color to help guide them.

I am almost embarrassed to ask this... :) But I don't quite understand how this works. For example on the one that starts 23 green... one more is 24. Then do I go ten more down from 23 or 24? Either way, there is not 10 squares to go down. I need better instructions... Thanks!!! :)
No worries! Ten more down is one space down. The students are learning to count up and down without using manipulatives or fingers. The point is for them to quickly recognize 10 more than 24 is 34 without having to count. They move down one spot. Let me know if I need to further explain. :)
