This is an emergent reader to provide students with an opportunity to learn their number words (zero-ten) in a hands-on way. Each page of My Number Book includes a predictable sentence. Students will cut apart the letters to spell each number word (included), mix the letters up, and then unscramble and glue the letters into a sentence to correctly spell each word. Each page of the booklet also has pictures with quantities that support the number word in the sentence (one star, two squares, etc.)

Note: Page 9 of the booklet says "I see nine diamonds." Alternate pages are also included in the packet that say "I see nine rhombuses" and "I see nine rhombi" so you can select the vocabulary you prefer.

Thank you for your product. It is nice to find spelling/easy reader materials for number words. My only constructive feed back is I wish the cut apart letters and templates were in consistent sized boxes.
