This is an awesome daily review activity that incorporates many of the 3rd and 4th grade common core standards. Students work with a 4-digit number of the day to practice a variety of skills:
-written form
-expanded form
-place value
-rounding
-addition
-subtraction
-fact families
-time
-commutative property
-associative property
-distributive property
-arrays
-repeated addition
-mental math
LOVE this number of the day pack with all of it's possibilities! Such a great tool for review and promoting those common core standards and problem solving skills! Yet another great product! Thanks!
Need an example page of how it is supposed to look...some of the questions are a little confusing on Version 2 - Otherwise, an amazing product! My tough tutoring kiddos love it.
Ashleigh when I try to print this I have black lines through out. I have read that others have had the same problem. Could you please email me the information I need to fix this.
Thanks.

Ashleigh I think you forgot to email Number of the Day. On Tuesday I let you know that I was not able to open the document.
we use Mac's at school and that is all I have at home too. If I can't use it on a Mac then please refund my money.
Thank You.

I just sent you an email. You'll probably need to contact TpT directly, because the file is too large to send in an email. I've reduced the file size as much as I can, and it still won't let me attach it to an email.

Just want to know what to do because I am not able to open this document. I use a mac both at school and at home.
Hi Ashleigh - I ordered the number of the day packet this summer - I love it and I am so in love with the fact that my students are gaining a stronger number sense foundation - awesome! My question is.... do you use a page per day? I have been using a page per day along with the word problems as our entry task, but I am just about to run out - the description said a year for duration, so did I do something wrong?
I did use one page a day last year, and I made up my own numbers on the blank template after I used all the premade forms. However, this year, I'm only doing a half page a day to save on paper and copies

I purchased and downloaded this great looking packet today. However, once downloaded, there are black lines and marks on all the pages and no numbers appear, only the outlines where questions/words/numbers would appear to be. Is there any suggestion you have toward fixing this? The product looks great in the preview, and I'm very interested in using it, I'm just not sure why it did not download correctly.
I see your link on helping to solve the preview issue (http://www.ashleigh-educationjourney.com/2011/10/pdfs-macs.html), however, in trying to do this my preview does not allow me to change my "open with" to another Adobe program. If you have another link to your document to share, please let me know. Thanks!
To open with Adobe instead of Preview, first press "Control" the lightly click the file (I save the file to my desktop first). The option should the come up for you.

Is there any way I can manipulate the "Word of the Day" document? I would love to make it a little harder. I teach 4th grade.
Ashleigh - your Number of the Day printed funny with all kinds of weird black lines where numbers sentences were supposed to be. Looks like it might be a formatting issue as the place value chart didn't have the place words at the top. Help me, please. Thank you for any help you can give me.
Hi Ashleigh- I've purchased your NOD set and wondered if it could be manipulated so I can make some changes and add /repace in a few skills. I dont want to download it on my home computer right now so I can see if I can make changes, as my computer is kind of older and dont want to slow it down more- I usually do those larger things at school. ok- Just wondering- thanks Lynn
I'm sorry, but I don't have a second grade version.

I just purchased your Number of Day set. On page 5 sample answer chart the clock is empty and does not show the hands. Your second version on page 60 has the hands shown on the clock though.
Hi! I noticed the worksheet includes the 'thousands' which would be great for 4th grade but I believe that 3rd grade will only be teaching to 999. Is there a way to change that on the worksheet? I would really like to buy it. Thanks in advance!
I'm sorry, but since this is such a large file, I won't be able to change all of the pages. I've found that my students have no trouble with the thousands place, so it shouldn't be too difficult.
Thank you for your interest!

Hello - I was trying to look at the preview to see what the difference is between form one and form two, but I couldn't tell in detail. Can you explain the difference for me?
Thanks - this looks to be a great resource :-)
Hi Ashleigh, I just purchased this and it says third and fourth grade on the cover sheet online, but when downloaded it just says third. I am thinking it is appropriate for fourth as well? Thanks.
Yes, it is appropriate for fourth. That was just an oversight on my part. I've added 4th grade to the cover sheet. Thank you for letting me know!

Ashleigh, I purchased this and hoped to get the Grade 4, when I started to copy it was the Grade3. I email and they said to reorder the Grade 4 and I would be credited for Grade 3. How do I do this? Please let me know!!
Thanks,
Rose
Actually this product is a combination of 3rd and 4th grade CCS. I don't think there is a grade 4 only version. If you feel that it's not appropriate for your students, please let me know, and I'll have TpT refund your account.

Ashleigh- Do you have Number of the Day for 2nd Grade Commor Core Standards?
This looks great!
I've been teaching for 8 years and think I have the best job in the world! I've taught 3rd and 4th grades and love developing curriculum and activities for my students.
