Hi Everyone!
Thanks for checking out my new Goin' Fishin' game. I am so excited about these new card games I can hardly stand it! We all know how much time we spend cutting, laminating, and cutting again...I have the answer! Make the cards on business cards! They are tag material and now easier than ever to pull apart...You just fold them and they POP apart! So cool!
I made the cards using Avery business cards, 8875 with Template 8371, but there is a whole list of compatible products listed in this pack...
I included a blank template that you can use to practice printing...If you are like me, it takes a couple of times!
This is basically just a game of
'Go Fish' - the child is dealt 4-7 cards (depending on how you play) and then asks the other player/s for a letter they have in their hand. They then make matches! The person with the most matches/cards wins! SIMPLE and FUN!
These cards can also be used as flash cards or to play Memory and probably other games as well.

I have been teaching for 25 years. I have taught kindergarten and 1st grade...then began to loop with 2nd and 3rd graders. I absolutely loved looping! It was so exciting to watch the growth in those little buggers over a two year period....and talk about getting attached! Those little people, their families and I became very close. We stopped looping a few years ago when we changed principals. I'm trying to talk my new principal into letting me team teach with a friend....we just want to knock out one of the walls!
