This is a free one-page handout on the numbers, time, day, and date in Spanish, based on the practical conversation course "Spanish that Works for You" (available on Amazon and BarnesandNoble.com). Use the handout as a study guide or reference in class or on the job, or to teach a lesson or workshop on the Spanish numbers, time, day, and date. The pronunciation guide (see also the free "Saying & Understanding" handout) trains English speakers to both understand and speak Latin American Spanish. A nice concise handout - great for beginning students to use as a study guide. The pronunciation guide is creative - helps students to understand how to make the Spanish d and r, but it does take a little explaining. Make sure students understand that the the "th" in the guide is not the voiceless "th" of the peninsular c/z, but rather the "th" in "mother," which is the Spanish d. My beginning students have a hard time accepting this - probably due to poor instruction in phonetics early on.
