This is a giant version of what a food label looks like blown up to a larger size. Students can write down facts about each part of the label as their are spots to write down facts right inside the label.
There are also "+" and "-" to let students know what are good and bad elements listed on the food label.
Great resource it really makes the kids aware of how important reading labels are and they show me their recess all the time and tell me all about what's in it lol
I added an extra page to have the students determine whether or not the food was a healthy choice. We made them into booklets and hung them on the board for Open House. They looked great and the students learned a lot about reading food labels. Thank you.

My students enjoyed filling out information from food labels. I love the size, it is easy for students to fill out!
Our gym teachers and school nurse head up a week long unit on healthy living. This will be great to support their activities with first graders. Thanks!

I am using this with first graders in our Nutrition Unit--it's never too early to learn!
