Page 2: Lab questions
Page 3 & 4: Food Diary for students to write 2 days of food.
Page 5: Activity Tracker: where students write down their activity for the week.
This lab requires two days of students writing down what they eat and the teacher explaining serving sizes. They will also need to write down what they do activity wise in one week. (you can have them track it or forecast what is normal for them) Students will need access to a computer and the internet to do this lab, approximately 2-3 hours, depending how much is to be completed in class. Students will utilize many different functions on this webpage and only print 2 pages out. They will use the my plan, food tracker, nutrient intake report, physical activity tracker and physical activity report to answer the lab questions.
Students would turn in answers to the questions and a 2 page nutrient intake report. This a great reflection for students to see how they are eating compared to how they should eat.
