Want an outdoor activity that incorporated matter and chemical structures? Want your students to understand the definition of matter and how it pertains to nature?
This activity is designed to help students understand the importance of nature and how man-made matter is constructed from natural matter. In addition, students will understand how matter changes when it reacts with other chemicals. This activity contains an observation, laboratory, and research component. It can be done in class or at home as a homework assignment. Your students will love the opportunity to learn about matter while enjoying the outdoor whether. Happy Teaching!
