This is fun activity to target the helping verbs IS, AM, and ARE with an ocean theme. Each boat has one of the helping verbs and students are to sort the waves (sentences) to the correct mat that fills in the blank. There are 10 sentences for each boat. This activity can be used in literacy centers, small group instruction, and language therapy.
