Seller's Description

Most of our planet is covered with saltwater. Considering this fact, it stands to reason that there would be a large amount of songs about the oceans. "Ocean Zones" is just one of The Bonus Point Band's contributions to this effort.

The ocean can be divided into three zones, and this song describes each of them in rhyme. Students will enjoy the catchy melody, and soon they'll be hooked on these saltwater ecosystems.

Lyrics:

In the ocean zones
That the ocean animals call home,
Under the white sea foam
You're never quite alone.

The intertidal zone
Is the closest one to the beach.
The starfish and crabs you see
Get the oxygen that they need.

In the near-shore zone
Is where you find schools of fish
Like anchovies, mackerel, and cod
'Cause algae is their favorite dish.

In the open-ocean zone
The water is very deep.
There's animals you can see
And very large fish indeed.
