About Seller

Developing a strong sense of phonemic awareness is an important task for children learning to read. Once children can successfully rhyme, the next step is to distinguish which words do not rhyme. This literacy center focuses on the concept of rhyming oddity. Children will look at three picture cards and determine which words rhyme and which one does not. They will record their answers on the response sheet provided. There are 11 sets of cards and work mats in this center.

This is my ninth year teaching and I love what I do! I adore teaching kindergarteners to read, write, and calculate!
