What happens when a crayon breaks? Oh snap!! (My kids loved telling each other oh snap when playing this game.) This set includes all high frequency words from Reading Street Unit 4 for first grade. Oh Snap is played just like the game 'BANG.' Students draw a card, read the word on their card and play continues until someone gets an 'oh snap' card. Player returns cards to teacher and has to start collecting all over again when they draw the 'oh snap' card. A great small group or whole group activity. I used it a lot for a quick review in Guided Reading. Would be perfect for literacy stations.
