PLEASE NOTE: The thumbnails provided by TpT are a little funky - downloading it (free) should correct that! :)

Great activity for the 100th Day of School!

Students use beans (or plastic ants) to represent ants marching in lines that total one hundred (100). Fun book to practice grouping, counting, and number skills.

Also makes a great book for your classroom library!

Hi Katie, I enjoyed your product. I was able to confidently give it a perfect rating. Thanks for sharing!

I just listed a new type of Sight Word PowerPoint for Kindergarten and First Grade. It is listed under First 50 Sight Words PowerPoint. It includes the words in isolation and within the context of sentences with picture support. I wondered if you might consider taking a look at the free 4 slide preview to see if it might be something you could use. Thanks! Anne Gardner

Thank you for your positive feedback, Anne! I am on a child-rearing leave with my two young babes right now, so while I am still polishing up my designs to provide to other teachers, I am not teaching in a classroom setting for the moment. It's a wonderful trade for this season when the kids are so little & snuggly! :)
Happy Holidays!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

For the last four years, I worked with the Appleton Area School District's Newcomers Program. I taught 1st through 6th grader students that were new to the distract, state, & country. They had a basic level of English and we taught them as homeroom teachers. Many of the activities I designed were to implement the curriculum in a hands-on way that would be memorable to my English Language Leaners. I completed my student teaching in an urban setting with 4th graders & 6th grade bilingual (English/Spanish) students. Relevant Experiences: *Volunteered with 10-21 year old girls in San Jose, Costa Rica. *Site Leader for YMCA After-School Program *Teach craft classes to children & adults *Teach technology staff development classes for district & teaching conferences. *Teach English/Language Arts conferences for district & teaching conferences.
