This center set includes 31 pages and 4 different activities to help your kiddos master common prefixes and suffixes.

*a set of word cards and meaning cards that students will use for the activities
*Race to the Castle- a game where students identify whether part of a word is a prefix or suffix and race along a game board to arrive at the castle
*BINGO- students cover words with prefixes and suffixes while the caller reads meanings... so students are practicing matching meanings with words
*Magical Matchup- a memory style game for students to match words with meanings
*King of the Castle- "Go Fish" with a twist! Students work to collect words with matching prefixes or suffixes and place them in a corresponding castle.
*A follow-up worksheet for assessment, accountability, or whole class work

I have been teaching since 2004. I have taught preschool, first, and second grades. I currently teach 3rd grade reading and LOOOOVE it!
