Use your Imagine It decodable books to focus on and assess reading comprehension and writing skills.
Use these pages as a whole group activity with teacher modeling or as independent seat or center work. Each page contains questions that align with the Open Court online e-presentations. Students read the questions, locate and highlight answers in their decodable books, and then respond in complete sentences.
This file includes comprehension worksheets for Unit 2 decodables 19-37.
I was wondering how I was going to engage students more with the decodable books which incorporated writing. This is perfect. It helps students to think and go back and reread when they are not sure what the answer to the question is. It also helps with writing a complete sentence when answering questions. You are a genius. Thank you so much.
Absolutely fantastic! Sailing through 1st grade never disappoints!

I love the decodable worksheets you have created for Imagine It. I was wondering if you had a bundle pack for the complete set available. I tried to look for it but wasn't able to find it.

I LOVE using these! Unfortunately my first graders and I found the second one that does not have the correct questions. (Decodable 30 "Hills of Fuzz"). Decodable 25 "Fran and Kip" was the first one with a problem. Thank you for all your hard work!!
Thank you for pointing out the errors. Both have been fixed had you can now download the updated (correct file).
Please send me your email and let me know which product I can send you for FREE!

I absolutely LOVE all your work being I too teach first grade Imagine It. I bought the decodable questions for Unit 2 which I think are GREAT for Common Core (looking back in the text for answers and writing complete sentences). I did notice one problem today for Decodable 25 (Fran and Kip). The second and third questions do not seem to go with that decodable (What is the name of the boy? Where does Sam sit?)
I will fix decodable 25- thanks for the heads up.
Unfortunately there are absolutely no interactive white boards at my school. We did get projectors and ELMOs though 2 years ago.
