This PowerPoint tells the step by step story of two sets of brothers: Brothers Long and Brothers Short. Brothers Long and Short were all invited to a party, but Brothers Short can't get in!
As you tell the story students are given explicit directions on folding their paper. In the end they should (if they listened properly) have made an origami box.
Younger students may need help creasing, but I have done this with students as young as 4 years old. With older students you can add more opposites describing the situations and the brothers (push and pull, top and bottom, tall and short, young and old etc.).
I normally don't show my students the powrpoints (I just send this to other teachers to learn the story). Therefore the powerpoints are not the prettiest ones you have ever seen. Due to that fact I am giving this away as a freebie. Please overlook the lack of perfection of the PowerPoint and focus on the concept in your review (and please do review)!
