Hi there! My school uses the rainbow chart but it hasn't been as effective as I had hoped. I don't have your nifty behavior accountability notes that parents have to sign! I am going to try those this week! Thank you for sharing these!

Love this! I am doing a monkey theme room this year and would love to have "No Monkey Business" theme set in English & Spanish!!! Keep up the GREAT work!
Christine was so sweet to offer this for free, and I asked her to make this in Dr Seus theme for me. Within a few hours she emailed me back with the specialized form! I even asked her if she had a spanish version and she said she could make one for me!!!! I love this and I am so excited! I really appreciate this!

LOVE this!!! What a useful tool!!! I have an ocean theme. While you're working on Dr. Suess and Clifford, could you throw in some fish as well?? :) My e-mail address is MichelleConley@pickens.k12.sc.us.
I love this Christine!! Communication is a big thing and I like that I can give my students the responsibility of coloring in their own behavior with the communication chart. Thanks for sharing!
I use a clip chart in my room. I am having an "Out of this World" theme for the upcoming school year. I am excited about the home communication piece. Thank you!

I had a question of what the last page of tabs were for? Also, I want to use something like this for my class in August 2012. Do you do any other theme? I have Star Students (which I am going to spin in Out of the World). but I also have Clifford and Dr. Seuss in my Kindergarten class. Can I get your creative juices going on something similar for these? Thanks so much!
Hi! The last page tabs are for students who made it to the top of the chart. Instead of candy as a prize I cut a tab and tape it to a pencil. The students get a Top of the Chart pencil as a prize when they get there!
Yes! I will try my best to try and get something going for Clifford and Dr. Seuss. Let me see if I have some kind of clip art for it. What is your email?

Thank you for sharing this!! I also use the clip chart in my classroom, and I was thinking about changing up the way I send home the daily report, but I LOVE THIS, because they get to color it in themselves and think about making better choices for the next day. I'm pretty sure I'm using this next year. Thank you (again) for sharing!! :D

Hi Christine,
My name is also Christine and I am starting out as a first year graduate teacher for grade 1 and 2 in Australia this year and I absolutely love this behaviour chart, it's exactly what I've been looking for! I was wondering if you would be able to tweak a few things for me though so that I can customize it for my room? I would really appreciate this!
First, I was wondering if you could change the font on the chart so that the words are one solid colour (in black), rather than have stripes though it.
Secondly, I was wondering if you could change some of the titles for each colour. If possible could you please change this to:
PINK: Outstanding performance!
PURPLE: Super job
BLUE: Good job
GREEN: Ready to learn
YELLOW: Think about it
ORANGE: Teacher's choice
RED: Parent contact
That's all I need thank you so much!!! My email is christine.quintal1@live.vu.edu.au

Could you possibly change it for my system??
Purple (Amazing Day)
Blue (Great Day)
Green (Ready to Learn)
Yellow (Warning)
Orange (Cool Down)
Red (Buddy Room)
I absolutely love this, it is exactly what I have been looking for!
Do you have a particular theme or would you like me to keep the Outta this World Behavior Theme?

Carmen Conley
Hello.
I ordered your product and I really like it. I am using a similar system in my classroom. I was wondering if you could align it with the plan that I use?
Outstanding (red)
Great Job (orange)
Good Job (Yellow)
Ready to Learn (Green)
Think About It (Light blue)
Teachers Choice (purple)
Parent Contact (pink)
Also, could change the theme to Monsters on the chart? My classroom theme this year is monsters. I would really appreciate it very much!
Hi Carmen, Yes I can! Give me a couple days. I will email you mid-week!

Hello, I love your packet. I have a MAC and need to exchange "playground" for "classroom" on your bookmark. Do you know if it's possible or does it stay in the original format? Loved the idea about sending it away to make it a banner. That will be a load off of my mind.
I am doing a puppy theme and was wondering if you could send me a dog/puppy version? If there's any change to change wording as well, I'd like to do Teacher's Choice instead of Loss of Time since there are times I will have kids do a "fix-it" activity that works on doing something restorative. My email is tuckerkat@gmail.com
Thanks so much! I have a good feeling about these clipchart things.

I am a departmentalized Reading Teacher. I see 3 groups of kids during the day. My team works very well together and last year we had a 4 color chart, but we discontinued it in January. It just wasn't working for us (every student began the day on green, but rarely did anyone end the day on green except a handful of near-perfect students).
Do you think this would work better? If students did well in all 3 classes, students could move up to the top and get a reward.
I think it could work. The great thing about this behavior plan is that students can move up AND down throughout the day. Let me know if you'd like me to modify it for you to fit the needs in your classroom. Email me at Statzelc@gmail.com

I don't think it sent my question. Hopefully this won't post twice. Anyway, you mentioned that you could change Loss of Time back to Teacher's Choice. I would love a copy of this with that change. I really only need the form changed because I made my own clip chart.
Also, I work with another teacher that has a jungle theme. I noticed comments indicating that you did this with other themes. Have you done a jungle theme?
Hi! Yes! I'd be happy to change it for you! What is your email? I'm on my way home from my vacation right now and will be back tmrw. I will send you the changed file and the jungle themed file when I get home!

In your post you said you would be willing to customize this- I have a Rockstar theme in my classroom. Would you be willing to create something that would work with that? Thank you so much! I have been using the pocket chart, but I think this would be much more effective with my students!
I think I am going back to using the clip chart this year after taking last year off. I realized that I never used the Teacher Choice level and I noticed that you changed that to loss of time. Does that refer to losing time at recess? We aren't really supposed to take recess time so I need to think of something else or take that level out of the chart so I was curious.
Hi! I agree I don't want to take away my student's recess time. They definitely need that time. I usually take 5-10 minutes away from our Friday Fun time or 5 min off an activity at the end of day (depending on why it is). It is like teachers choice bc i decide on what they lose time on. I would be happy to change it to Teachers Choice if you'd like me to. Let me know! :)
Hello Christine!
I see you made a frog theme for someone already? I want a frog theme!!!! Please? I use this system and it is the best, but I was going to have to make a new one this summer. How do I have it printed at Vista Print? I would love to do that! I am a new seller and I follow you constantly! You are so generous! Thank you thank you!

Hi Christine,
I love your chart!
I'm having trouble up;oading just the clipchart to vistaprint to make a poster. It is uploading the entire file. How can I get just the chart to upload?

Hi Christine!
This behavior chart system is fantastic! My district has the color blue as the worst color. Would it be possible to move that color to the bottom of the chart?
I would love to spread the word to our other teachers that we finally found a super resource to use!
I look forward to Your feedback!
Sincerely,
Julie
Hi Julie! No Problem! I'll email you when its ready! Thanks!

Christine, this chart would be a wonderful addition to my classroom. My school uses the stop light colors in varing shades of red, green and yellow, with blue added meaning you need to chill out in the office. My special education students don't really get the varing shades and how the system works. I wondered if you could explain how to make the banner to me. I am not anti-technology, but I am technology challenged. How do I send your chart to the Vista Company? Ann Wolfzorn
Hi Ann! Thanks for downloading my freebie! ok heres what you do:
1. Save the clip chart to your computer. I think its on page 4. When you save it just save page 4 only. Let me know if you have trouble and i'll send it to you.
2. Go to either Esigns.com or Vistaprint.com. They both make banners. Go to where it says make a banner.
3. Select the size that you want (2X4).
4. Click on upload file.
5. When youve uploaded the file, it'll create a draft for you. They'll email you when your draft is ready.
6. If you are satisfied with your draft, finalize it, send payment and it'll get sent to you!
I hope this makes sense! Sorry i had to make it short and sweet as Im on my phone right now! ha! If you have any problems or troubles just let me know! You can also email at Statzelc@gmail.com! Thanks

Hi Chistine,
I love your chart and clip idea. I teach French Immersion in Saskatchewan, Canada. Would there be an easy way to provide a French version? I'd love to use this in my classroom!
Luba Lubenko
Hi Luba! Thank you! Wow, this is quite a challenge for me! I will try my best! What is your email? I'm going to make a rough copy and send it to you so you can let me know its okay.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!!! I'm really excited about using your out of this world behavior chart. For so long the tendancy with most behavior charts was to see students go down and verbally praise the students who were being model students.
Now they're both visible:-) I'm teaching summer school reading. So, I'll be able to start using it right away. My questions are - what are the measurements for each section? How many students do you use it with? I was in a co-teach situation. Our district is using co-teach more & more, so we could have up to 30 to 33 students. What did you use to clip on - wooden clothes pins? Names aren't very visible at a distance on clothes pins. I was thinking of glueing clothes pins to tongue depressors. And I am definitely committed to making this work. I am going to have a banner made, and I have just the spot to put it for easy access and visibility.
Thanks again so much!!!!
Andrea Gould - first grade teacher after being a specials teacher for 15 years, now back in the classroom with all of the standards & technology - a little overwhelming.
Hi Andrea! If you print out the chart it should be 24x48. All the sections are 6 inches long and the middle section is 8 inches long. Yes, I did use wooden pins and I put my students' class number on the clothespin. I had a class of 23 last year so I put the boys' pins on one side, and the girls' pins on the other side. The tongue depressor thing might work too!
I had a coworker attach her clip chart to a magnetic board last year. She made a magnet for each student and had her students move their magnets down. That's another idea.
I may be able to make the banner a little larger to fit your 33 kids. I need to play around with it for a bit. Let me know if you'd like me to do this! Just send me your email and I can email you the file when I've gotten it all figured out! :)

I love Outta This World Behavior, especially the parent communication pages. I like how you have the children color a black and white version of the chart. This helps clarify what the different colors mean to parents. Last year I just had my students color a circle with their color but parents were confused about what the color meant (even though I DID explain many times - some still did not get it). I would love a rock star themed set because that is my school's theme. Do you plan on making one??
I teach first grade in a small district in Southern California. I am in my 7th year of teaching, and all have been in 1st grade! I absolutely love teaching first graders and look forward to many more years in this grade level!
