I had several years experience in adult education before I began 8 years teaching Language Arts and Literature in grades 8-10. During that time I obtained my Master's Degree and Reading Specialist certification. I have spent the last two years working as a Reading Specialist is grades K-6 working with struggling readers as well as gearing lessons in school-wide test prep. I have most recently accepted a position as a high school Literacy Coach for grades 7-12.
