This is a handout that I use to "teach" my students' parents newer methods for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in the fifth grade. I offer a "Parent Academy" for parents to come in and learn or get a refresher for methods such as lattice multiplication, partial quotients division, and more. There is an example for each method, a blank problem for parents to work out, and a notes section. I have also included an exit slip survey for parents to complete before they leave the session.
