Use these 8 flashcards as a way to teach parts of speech to your students. Each includes definitions, examples, and other important information about the parts of speech. They can be copied on a sturdy paper and even laminated for use throughout the school year. You, of course, can determine where students should keep them. A suggestion might be to have students attach them to 3 X 5 index cards and keep them in an index box.
I thought this was a very minimalistic product. The "flash cards" were simply a one page brief definition for the eight parts of speech with a few basic examples. I had hoped there would be several cards using words in context to show how they would be classified as different parts of speech. I had imagined this product would be more like a multiplication flash card product where a student could test him/herself or the teacher could test the class to see if they could classify words correctly in context.

I don't know why you imagined this. I think that the product description was accurate. You're the only person who didn't like this product. Of what use would classifying the words be? I don't see the practicality of the flash cards that you're describing. You could easily make those yourself. I don't understand your very low rating for a product that took me a while to create. I'm sorry that you didn't like it. It's not very minimal to me. I feel that I gave you more than you were lookimg for and comething a lot more useful.

Help
I have taught for 36 years at the 3rd, 5th, and 6th grade levels. Fifth grade is my first love. I teach all major subject areas. In addition to my regular classroom duties, I have taught in a Basic Skills summer school program for many years as well as taught workshops to co-workers in whole language and technology. My other duties at school include being "Teacher in Charge" and Student Council advisor.
