This is a review game for parts of speech. There are 24 cards in which children must recognize the 4 basic parts of speech nouns, verbs, adverbs, and adjectives.
The game is for two players. Everything needed for the game is included in this purchase.
Below are the directions:
1. Players choose a color for game pieces.
Player 1 draws a card, reads it, and decides what part of speech the underlined word is.
2. If correct, the player chooses an animal to take a picture by placing a marker on one of the animals on this game board. Then player 2 takes a turn.
3. The game is over when all of the animals have been photographed.
4. The player with the most pictures wins.
Overall simple, easy to implement game board with parts of speech review. There is an error with the answer key (#22 is an adjective, #23 is a adverb, #24 noun). It would be helpful to have a poster review sheet that reviewed what an adjective, noun, verb, and adverb are as a reference for students to be able to use this game independently in a center.
I apologize for the errors. They are corrected now. I have some posters already made up. I will tweak them and add it to the game ASAP. Thank you for the comment!
