Would you like your students to read a variety of genres? The Passport to Literature is a great way to accomplish that. Each student receives a Passport. Over the alloted time they can complete it. The students will read from 11 different genres, write summaries for each and rate and comment each book.
This can be used from 2nd grade all the way up to 6th grade.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been teaching for 18 years now. I started out in 2nd grade, moved to 5th, 4th and now I have been in 3rd grade for 8 years. I have been lucky to work with many different teacher who have been in different places in their careers. I have learned so much from each and every one of them. During my 18 years I have co-taught with 5 different special education teachers. I love when other teachers work in my classroom. It opens my eyes up to new/different strategies/styles.
