This project can be completed in either math or science class and give the students a list of options to choose from. They will investigate patterns found in nature such as fingerprints, symmetry, spiderwebs and honeycombs, and snowflakes. Students will complete a written portion and a 3D model or set of pictures/photographs.

Great practice and review in symmetry. The different activities are differentiated and address different learning styles. And every group was doing something else at the same time. Easy to assess.
