Based off of the work of Jim Vopat, this peer conference sheet gives children the opportunity to work peers, in a structured way, to improve their writing. Specifically, this peer conference sheet was designed for a personal narrative unit of study. However, I've left it in a Word Document so you may adapt it as you wish.

Great resource! I tweaked slightly by replacing the word narrative with the word piece so I can use it with any type of writing. I also added P is for purpose to address that aspect of the writing. Thanks!

I'm a fourth grade teacher in Rhode Island. Before moving to Rhode Island, I taught fifth grade for three years in the NYC Public School System. (I also taught religious school classes to 3rd and 4th grade students.)
