Included: 30 cards (15 pairs)
These adorable little penguins can be used multiple ways!
(1) Whole group: Give each student a card and have them find their opposite! Then
share with the class.
(2) Small group: Do only some of your students need extra practice with opposites? Use these during a guided reading group! Have students find the matching opposites.
(3) Small group: For advanced groups, only give them half of the cards and have them come up with the opposite on their own instead of matching it.
(4) Independent work: Stick these little guys in a literacy center for your students to practice!
I laminate all of my activities that I let the students get their hands on, so I definitely
recommend that! But I'm sure you can think of other ways to incorporate these into your classroom.
