This lesson is a great back-to-school activity to help teachers get to know their students quickly. Students are engaged in a language activity by brainstorming a list of their own characteristics, and turning these characteristics into unique percent poems. Students are also engaged in a math activity by creating pie charts to display their poetry, and ensuring their percents add up to 100%. Finished products can be displayed on a bulletin board to create an eye-catching back-to-school display. Includes a rubric for assessment, if desired.

There is a completed poem as part of the product - check page / slide 9. The poem reads like a list poem, with a rhyming couplet at the end.

I've only worked with SMARTboards, so I haven't tried to convert the files, but I did some searching and I found this forum which should help you:

I have quite a few free smartboard resources - I would try one of those on your promethean board before you purchased the product. I also have this resource in PDF format, if you prefer.
