In this exercise, students will be given a completely blank periodic table and asked to answer questions about it and to label the different parts of it. For example, they are asked to color the halogens blue, the noble gases red, etc. They will label the periods, families, lanthanoids, actinoids, alkali metals, etc. Students will draw arrows indicating the periodic properties of the periods and the families.
This would make a great quiz, homework or review exercise. Your download will consist of 20 questions/items that must be completed on the periodic table, a blank periodic table, and all answers. This is appropriate for physical science or chemistry students.
You will receive a document that is ready to be copied and passed out to your students. You will receive both an editable Word document as well as a pdf form of the worksheet.
