This set of persuasive writing tools includes a simple organizational planning tool, a letter template for oral rehearsal or note taking, and several word lists related to the persuasive genre.
You can use the letter template as a reference sheet for students to use as they draft their persuasive letters, but I have also used it in the past as a way for young writers to "rehearse" their letter out loud by touching the parts of the letter and practicing what their words might say before writing.
The word lists are helpful resources to give students for their writing notebooks, or you can write them on charts and display them for all your writers to see during writing workshop. The additional lines on each word list are available for you and your students to brainstorm additional words, if desired.

I'm not sure what grade level you teach, but I have a "First Grade Writing Units of Study" pack in this store that includes an overview of a persuasive writing unit. It includes possible minilesson topics, suggested mentor texts for instruction, and assessment pieces for both the teacher and the students. If you teach first grade, you can look at the free preview for that product and see if it might meet your needs.
