Rubric for Persuasive Speech Project with Visual Aid--
This Rubric is for grading a persuasive speech assignment requiring an introduction with hook and thesis, a conclusion, an opposing viewpoint, at least 3 points of argument on position, evidence of persuasive tactics, and correct usage of correct grammar/mechanics.
There is another section on rubric for a creative visual aid to accompany the speech; visual aids may vary: poster, banner, power point, flyers, leaflet, booklet, etc.
If you purchased my Persuasive Speech with Visual Aid Project Product, an exact rubric is in that product!! This is for those not wishing to purchase the larger product but only rubric.
This rubric can be used as created or with persuasive speech, excluding the visual/presentation portion of rubric.

I teach the persuasive speech but wanted a new twist to it. I really like this rubric and it will be very helpful when I teach it again!
