I love this! I am going to use it with my 4th graders.

My students call me "the most awesome teacher" when I do this activity. *Have extra cookies that the students may eat, after discarding the used cookies.* I found this activity in Mailbox magazine years ago, and use it every year.

How cute! I wonder if passing out Oreos and having them eat the portion of the moon to create the correct phases would work. It could almost serve as an assessment! Have them hold up the correct phases after calling them out. I love this!
