Phonics is such an important part of reading and spelling. Here are 13 different chants and tricks that are used to help students learn to read and write. These phonics rules are very important to learn, as they are keys to sounding out new words and application in spelling. Each poster is colorful, have the saying of the chant or trick, and examples of words that follow the phonemic saying.

I just downloaded these and am finding that the font makes it a little bit difficult to read. I love the decorative font, but I wondered if there was any way you could change the font to one that is not dotted so that the students can see them more clearly? Thanks so much! These are terrific!!

While teaching 4th grade, I got my Masters in Reading and I currently am an Intervention Specialist. I primarily assist at-risk students in reading.
