I use this to asses my students on the vowel sound we are working on for the week. I left it as a word document so you can change the words around to whatever you are working on.
The children must read the word and draw a picture to go along with the word.

I have been in the educational field since I was 19 years old. I worked in daycare for five years. I did my student teaching in first grade and I fell in love. I then moved on to teach kindergarten in NJ for a year. When I moved to Texas I knew in my heart that I wanted to teach first grade. I have been teaching first for three years and I think it's the best thing EVER! This past May I completed an ENL certification program at the University of Notre Dame. Bottom line, I love teaching!
