Phonics...the building block of reading. CVCe is hard for students to understand in spelling. This also help the ELL tremendously. This activity is most useful and engaging for the students. It works! This mini-lesson really makes a difference in student's spelling and test scores. Laminate the directions to put at a center!For the lower grades this is meant to be done orally to help oral language development.
