**ONE YEAR CURRICULUM BUNDLE is ready and available for a 20% discount when you purchase all months at once - CLICK HERE**

This is a complete month of original Common Core aligned phonological awareness curriculum. If you follow our curriculum in your classroom, which requires 15 minutes a day on the first day and 10 minutes a day for the next four days, you will see amazingly ridiculous phonological awareness growth in your students. This program is tried and true, used in K and first grade classrooms at my school. This curriculum is based on 16 phonological awareness skills that we have identified in the Common Core for ELA. The activities/lessons are text-based, meaning the words and phrases for the phonological awareness lessons (which we call "listening games") are based on popular read aloud titles (books not included) from your monthly curricular themes. This program was written around the Kindergarten and First Grade Common Core standards and skills including the Common Core document, Appendix A, based on phonological awareness research and the general progression of phonological awareness skills in the foundational reading process. This curriculum is also appropriate for Pre-K and anyone working in a teaching capacity with K or 1st grade students. We are so sure you are going to love our phonological awareness curriculum after using it for just one week, that we think you'll come back to purchase the monthly bundles.

The March bundle includes four weeks of lessons based on the following holiday and curricular theme related read-aloud titles:
The Sneetches (Dr. Seuss’ Birthday – March 5)
The Edible Pyramid (National Nutrition Month)
Clever Tom and the Leprechaun (St. Patrick’s Day – March 14)
Everything Spring (First Day of Spring – March 21)

The only PREP required to implement this curriculum is you locating the book. Once you download and print the lessons included here (28 pages) there is NO MORE PREP. You're ready.

If you would like to be automatically notified when we add more curriculum, please click FOLLOW ME at the top of this page. We appreciate your business!

Your curriculum is great but do you know book covers and art work have copyrights? You need permission to use any and all materials except if they are if the Public Domain. Just helping, I don’t want you to be fined. (I know someone who was fined $700 for using just one thing!)

Thanks for helping. We'll look into other options. We definitely don't want a fine.

Hi Jen,
Our library assistant was able to track down and borrow the book, "Clever Tom and the Leprechaun" from another school in our school district. Everything worked out. I am going to see if I can purchase a used copy for next year. I am seeing improvement in my students as I do the activities. Is there an assessment that you would recommend using for checking out the skills of a few weaker students? Thanks, Linda lott@telus.net

Great! Linda, we just finished the assessment that aligns to our curriculum. I'm writing the Directions Administration now, it will be free and we'll have it uploaded within two weeks!

Hi Jen,
I am having problems finding the book, "Clever Tom and the Leprechaun." It seems to be out of print. Is there an alternate title I could use? Thanks, Linda lott@telus.net

Hi Linda! I'm sorry you are having trouble. Do you teach year-round or Sep - June? I can read it and upload it to You Tube, will that work?

I want to buy the bundle but it is a zip file. I can' figure out how to download it on my ipad. Also, does it matter if I start now instead of the activities at the beginning of the school year? I teach SPED kindergarten. Do you suggest any modifications? Thanks

Hi Julie!
You're right about having difficulty opening ZIP files on an iPad, I can't either. So, what I would do is purchase and download the zipped bundle on a home computer or laptop computer, save it somewhere, like your desktop. Here, you have two options...save it Dropbox (a free account if you don't have one) and then open it in the Dropbox app on your iPad. OR instead of using Dropbox, compose an email to yourself, attach the bundle to the email and make sure you send it to the email address you access from your iPad. Then open the email on your iPad and when you click on the attachment, tell your iPad that you want to open it in iBooks when prompted. I hope that helps and if it doesn't, let me know and you can call me and I'll walk you through it over the phone. Take care!

Is there anyway you could offer an alternate book for "Everything Spring" with the March bundle? I want to purchase the bundle but Everything Spring is proving difficult to find.
Just curious :).
Thanks!

Hello! I talked to my partner, Kathi about this today, an at this point, we are not offering alternates, primarily because the book is available at www.amazon.com for $5.35 and at www.barnesandnoble.com for the used price of $1.99. We made books selections very carefully based a number of criteria....if a book was "out of print" we did not use it. However, this book in not out-of-print, in fact, it was published in 2010. I think you'll have better luck at either of the two sites above. Thanks so much for interest in our products! We appreciate you.

Hi Jen, I'm a teacher in Aus and was wondering if it mattered what month you started with? Are they in an order?

Thanks :)

I have another teacher buyer in Australia, Kylie, of the Down Under Teacher Blog, and she started the school year last month using the September bundle. Do what works for you. The order of books really doesn't matter, we just tried to correlate them to themes and units that we know teachers teach in certain months...but certainly rearrange the order to meet your needs.

I loved the free trial. I am looking into getting all of your bundles. I will be submitting a PO to buy them. I would like to know when you think you would have April and May done so I can possible include them on the same PO?
