Actually, I figured out another way to use it by just giving students a conversion chart. Thanks for the prompt response, however!

Interesting...Its a great lab....kids really enjoy the reaction timer. You should be able to reverse engineer one based on freefall...all it is is that each line on the stick is an same amount of time...the spaces between the lines get bigger because the stick is accelerating. In fact, if you have a really bright student(s) see if they can figure it out?

I purchased the Seat Belt Science lesson packet and it looks great but one thing missing is the cut-out "Reaction Time Scale" for the What is Your Reaction Time lab. Could you possibly e-mail me this scale?

Will there be an answer key to the Lord of the Flies any time soon?

Sorry...I am a science teacher my wife used to teach english but its been 10 years since she taught this novel. I retyped it. I hope you did not confuse answer sheet with answer key. I will edit listing and add "no answer key"

Does it matter what type of markers are used in the chromatography lab?

Yes, they need to be water soluable....just get a large variety of random markers and you will find a handfull that will work..then number each marker.

Dear tshooper,
on second inspection, I think the first 3 questions you would want a science teacher but after that its straight forward and any one should get it. I think it would work with a sub. Just have the skip going over the first three questions.

Yes, If they watch the movie the should be able to get it. If you have seen the movie you should have no problem filling in the guide. I will look into uploading an answer version in the future.

I teach AP & Honors physics, but I often show Apollo 13 as a subsitiute activity when I am gone to NSTA. Is your guide something that can be done with a sub with little or no science backgorund?
Thanks
