This 27-slide Power Point presentation is designed for the Political Unit of AP Human Geography courses, but can also be used for other geography or government courses. It includes a skeleton outline for easy student note taking and several questions to check for student understanding. The presentation begins with a definition of boundaries and then explains the many different types of boundaries. Included in the presentation are explanations and examples of physical boundaries (water, mountains, and desert)and cultural boundaries (geometric, religious, language, and ethnicity). The presentation then covers frontiers, ocean boundaries, and boundary demarcation. Maps and pictures are used for all of the examples of the different types of boundaries.
