Students choose a literature book to read. While reading this story, they will complete 10 of the 25 provided literature activities. There are 5 activities they must do and then they may choose any other 5 activities that they would like. They may do additional activities for extra credit. Included is cover sheet, activity information, needed worksheets, and the grading rubric.
Oh, I do love this idea! It allows the student to choose a book, yet still gives them work to do. It also leaves the decisions of which projects up to the student (except the mandatory ones) and the responsibility to complete them. Great for my 8th grader. Thank you!!
I purchased your Birthday Bulletin Board set - usable for a range of different classes and ages, easy to print and laminate, colour ful and neat. Thanks!

Thanks do much! I have some unmotivated readers.
I'm hoping the variety of activities will energize them to participate. Lookingforward to the next month!:)
I like the variety included in this resource. This is without a doubt one of the very best resources I have seen so far. I am now a follower of yours and would like to invite to rate my free product by clicking the link pasted below.

Looks like a great way to give choices while getting the important info from the students too.
Great packet - everything you need is there! Thanks!

I really like this activity and will be incorporating it into the independent reading that I have middle school classes do. I have been searching for a final assessment for each book that they read and I think that these activities will be just perfect.

The activities look great!! However, dedicated was right in that it was blurry.
Dear Dedicated,
I redownloaded this file to make sure it wasn't blurry and the print quality is perfect. Unfortunately, I think it may be in an error when you downloaded it. Please contact me at catch211@msn.com and I will make sure you get a good copy.
Very well done. Nice lay out. Everything well explained. I'll be incorporating this into 2 unit studies next year on some classical literature for my oldest son.
Thanks!
