Here is a fun and engaging game that you can play whole group to practice the skill of making inferences!
Just print up the pages and place them under a document camera, on a overhead, and/ or project the PDF file digitally.
Students pick the best inference for each sentence. You could have the students hold up a notecard with their "A" or "B" answer to encourage 100% engagement. They could also talk with a partner to share and defend their answers. There are so many ways to make this a fun and engaging lesson with pratically no teacher preparation! :-)
Please limit use to one classroom. Thank you!
