This is a fun ecology activity that gets kids up and moving as they learn about a factor that makes some animals prone to extinction. Students work in teams to capture their "food source" and find that animals that have a varied diet have an advantage in survival especially if their habitats are impacted by humans.The activity includes directions and printable materials for the activity. Also included is a follow up summary handout and a word search puzzle.
