Inferencing is a difficult task for students to master. This set includes 25 picture prompts with different degrees of difficulty. Subjects vary but include animals, places, and objects.
Picture writing prompts are showing up on standardized tests around the country. Helping our students succeed means introducing them to this type of writing early.
The pictures included are copyrighted to other individuals. I simply collected them and added my own writing prompts.
Lines another allow the student to write and I have included an additional lined page for writing. I highly recommend printing them and laminating them with a writing prompt on one side and a lined paper on the other.
These are great for guest teachers/substitute teachers or for use in your centers. Look for my other picture prompt packages including holiday specific items!
Now just have to wait for the mailman to deliver a new ink cartridge. Oh. And school to start up again. Some great ideas in here ... can't wait to get the kiddos thinking and hear their answers!

I have eight years experience teaching grades K-4 in a private setting. A few years ago, I resigned from my current position to pursue my masters in education. While completing that goal I worked as a substitute in grades PK-8.
