Are your students working on differentiating between digraph sounds? Here is a sort that will allow you to work on this important skill. Students have 12 pictures to cut, sort and glue. It makes a very easy phonics center for your literacy center rotation, with almost no preparation needed, except making a copy for each student.

Each sort has corresponding graphics to help students remember what each digraph sounds like. These graphics coordinate with the graphics in my Basic Phonics Kit. In addition, I have 5 sorts available for Long and Short Vowel Sounds .

It looks great but there's a typo (I think). Sayin is used instead of saying (or sayin'?). That's why there are b's in the rating. I've done the same kind of thing, that's why I gave it a b for creativity.

I currently teach a mixed age class of 3rd and 4th graders at the International School of Morocco. Previously, I have taught 1st grade and 3rd grade, as well as teaching all grade levels in the computer lab at a Title I school in Georgia. I have taught both high income and low-income school students, and find that no matter where I teach, most kids need to look at every problem from 12 different angles. Although it is challenging, it is also incredibly rewarding.
