This bank book is a fun rewards system that also teaches children money concepts. I got the idea from other teachers who were having trouble teaching their students money. The children love it and they learn from it!
Use rubber coin stamps on the grid page for children who show great participation or thinking in class. Each time you stamp the page have the children tell you how much they have saved. At the end of each week, have students add up their total savings. They can choose to either spend their rewards at the class 'shop' or save for something extra special!
Includes front cover, grid page for stamping, total page and suggested 'Shop' menu.

Hi, this is great! I teach grade 2 this year and I did a similar concept last year in my grade 6 classroom (classroom economy) and have been trying to find a simpler version for my kids this year. Thanks for a great resource!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
This is my fourth year of teaching and I feel so lucky to have a job that I am passionate about and love. I taught grade 1 for two years and this is my second year in grade 2. Everyday I learn new things and am enjoying teaching more and more each year!
