Have your kiddos practise ordinal numbers to tenth with this Pirate Bingo Game.
This game comes with 6 board games (for up to 6 players) so is perfect for math stations, centers or rotations while you meet with other groups.
How to Play: Students take turns turning over a card. Students read the instructions (e.g. Find the fourth letter in 'anchor' or Find the 10th letter in 'Shiver me timbers'). If the letter is on their gameboard, they cover it with a counter/cube. Either first to spell a word on their board or first to cover the board (depends on how long you have) wins.
There are two types of calling cards - Set 1 with word ordinals (e.g. fourth) and Set 2 with number ordinals (e.g. 4th) to differentiate. The same instructions are on each set of cards - just the ordinal (word or number) is different.

Tina's Teaching Treasures (TpT Seller)
The idea was really fun! However, the product has spelling errors and the instructions run into the black border, making impossible to use as is.
I have to re-type the instructions and BINGO cards (Which is the cute part with the clipart) and can only use the cards. I would not have paid this much for just the cards, so I am leaving a rating to reflect the lack of proofreading, poor image quality (stretched clipart, fuzzy graphics) and inability to read instructions card.

Down Under Teacher (TpT Seller)
Hi Miss McV, I'm sorry that the file didn't work for you. When I printed it, it worked out fine (perhaps the formatting went a bit wonky and made the writing go out of the border when I changed it to a PDF). I've fixed up the instructions (including mistakes) and brought the writing in further and checked that it has not gone out when I made it a PDF again.
Is there any reason why you couldn't use the bingo boards besides the 'fuzzy' graphics (this is actually the way the clip art is, it's not because I have stretched it - I checked it with the original). Sorry you didn't like it - I actually chose it because I thought it looked good as the background being like it is! If you would like me to make smaller boards (so the clip art isn't enlarged) please email me - but please note it will still have the same look.
