This is a two-day lesson plan focused on teaching students about the Native Americans of the Great Plains. Most needed materials are included within this teaching packet. Students are guided to use higher-level thinking skills to make predictions and inferences about the culture and lifestyles of the Plains Native Americans based on key vocabulary and pictures used. Student not only remained highly engaged through this activity, but learned a great deal about these important Americans.
