This .zip file contains materials for middle school science lessons on plant cells as a continuation from learning about organelles of animal cells. It also includes materials for the animal cell edible Cell-O lab experiment and continuation possibilities for plant cell organelles. All materials are part of a unit on living things. The unit was designed for 6th graders in NYC.

Presentations serve as lesson plans that guide the teacher through the entire lesson. Presentation includes links to related YouTube videos to increase student engagement (I can help you use YouTube videos in your class, even if your network blocks such sites, just ask).
