This PowerPoint explores the relationships between plants, animals and the environments they live in. It was used during our lesson on interdependence of animals and food chains. There are over 60 real life plant and animal pictures!
Slides include:

-How do animals use other animals?
-How do plants use soil?
-How do animals use water?
-How do plants use water?
-How do animals use the air?
-How do plants use the air?
-How many plant, animal and environment relationships can you find in the picture?

As we went through the PowerPoint with the students, I stopped after each question and took some answers. If they were stumped or puzzled, I clicked on a few of the "hint" pictures and that usually sent them thinking in the right direction. Then, we would look at the pictures in the next slide to see if their answer was correct.
For the last 2 slides, the students had to study the picture and see how many different plant, animal and environment relationships they could find.
My kids loved looking at the real life plant and animal pictures!

This resource is great! The pictures really kept the student interest and prompted some awesome discussion. Thanks for making teaching science so much fun.
Great pictures! Before I showed the powerpoint, I had my students fold a piece of paper in half. They wrote animals on one side, and plants on the other. As we viewed the powerpoint, they took notes on each section of the paper. When we were done, we completed a venn diagram on plants/animals. The lesson went great! Thank you!
